Ibby Coburn, age 76, died Wednesday, February 27, 2019 at Hickory Creek of Kendallville.  Mrs. Coburn was born near Hindman, Kentucky on May 1, 1942 to Tivis and June (Owens) Short. She married Rufus Ray Coburn and he preceded her in death in 2009.  

Survivors include:
Son, Randy and Bertha Coburn of Kendallville.
Son, Ricky Coburn of Fort Wayne.
Daughter, Angela Sawyer of LaGrange.
Son, Anthony Short of Kendallville.
10 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
Sister, Betty Messer of Wolcottville.
Sister, Nettie Fuller of Montgomery, Kentucky.
Sister, Margie Ritchie of LaGrange.
Sister, Lucy Cornett of Lower Mill, Kentucky.
Brother, Tommy Short of Lower Mill, Kentucky.
Brother, Diamous Short of Lower Mill, Kentucky.

Visitation will be held Friday, March 1, 2019 from 4:00 – 7:00 PM at Hite Funeral Home in Kendallville. No funeral services will be held.
