Irene Gasper Obituary

Irene Gasper, age 92, of Kendallville, died September 17, 2021 at home. Mrs. Gasper was born in Sparta Township, Kimmell, Indiana on November 10, 1928 to the late Roy and Laura (Fultz) Wooten. She was employed with Flint & Walling in Kendallville for 41 years before retiring in 1993. She was a member of St. John Lutheran Church, VFW Post #2749, American Legion Post #86, Eagles Lodge #985, Moose Lodge #730 all in Kendallville and the International Association of Machinist Union Local #1541. She loved the 23rd Psalm.

Survivors include:
Daughter, Gloria Fulk of Kendallville.
Grandson, Brian Fulk of Kendallville.
Great grandchildren, Brenden Fulk and Alicia Fulk. Great-great grandchildren, William Roberts, Dominique Roberts, Dakota Fulk and Romen Fulk.
She was preceded in death by three brothers, Harry Wooten in 1997, Ray Wooten in 1922 and Joseph Wooten in 1933; two sisters, Esther Marie Witham Fry in 1995 and Ethel Anna Wooten in 1950.
