Jack B. Pugh Obituary

Jack Bowman Pugh, age 94, of Skinner Lake near Albion, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, July 19, 2024, at Orchard Pointe in Kendallville. Jack was born in Montpelier, Indiana on November 11, 1929, to the late Max Clay Pugh and Vivian Beatrice (Bowman) Pugh. He graduated from Montpelier High School in 1949 and honorably served his country in the United States Navy. On October 7, 1950, in Warren, Indiana, he married Ruth Ethel Yeiter. Jack was a meat cutter for most all of his life. He owned Pugh's Locker, a small retail butcher shop in LaGrange.

Loving survivors include:
Wife, Ruth Pugh of Skinner Lake, Albion.
Son, Michael Pugh of Skinner Lake. 
Daughter, Teresa Morr and Tim Dyer of Skinner Lake.
Daughter, Cheri and Scott Glick of LaGrange.
Three grandchildren: Casey Morr of Skinner Lake; Joshua Pugh of Unionville, Indiana; and Kristy and Michael Zahuranic of Washington Township, Michigan.  
Eight great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. 

Jack was preceded in death by his parents, Clay and Vivian Pugh; son, Jack C. Pugh in 2017; sister and brother-in-law, Patricia and Milan Sills. 

Private services will take place at Hite Funeral Home in Kendallville followed by burial with military honors at Sweet Cemetery near Albion.
