Jerry Buckles

Garold Charles "Jerry" Buckles, age 80, passed away November 18, 2025, at Lutheran Downtown Hospital, Fort Wayne. Jerry was born in Fort Wayne, Indiana, on May 24, 1945, to the late Franklin Ray Buckles and Elsie May (Shirck) Campbell. He honorably served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He married Sheila A. (Malott) Brown Buckles who preceded him in death on December 20, 2016. Jerry worked as a mechanic for the Fort Wayne Public Transportation Corporation. He is survived by a daughter, Bobbie Ann; brother, David Buckles of Fort Wayne; and two sisters, Sharon Kimmel and Sandy Johnson both of Columbia City.

No funeral service. Burial will take place at a later date at Stringtown Cemetery in Noble County.
