Jerry Mitchell Nodine, age 72, of Rome City, passed away August 3, 2025, at Orchard Pointe in Kendallville. Jerry was born in Kendallville, Indiana, on October 31, 1952, to the late Howard Eugene Nodine and Helen Marie (Bloom) Nodine. He graduated from East Noble High School in 1970. Jerry was production manager of Americraft Carton in Sturgis, Michigan. He married Jaqueline June Felger on February 14, 1995, in Wolcottville and survives him in Rome City. Jerry loved fishing, golfing, time with his grandkids, and Notre Dame football.

Survivors include:
Wife, Jackie Nodine of Rome City.
Daughter, Britt and Eric Egler of Brownsburg, Indiana.
Son, Clayton Nodine and Joann of Avondale, Arizona.
Two grandchildren, Ethan and Oliver Egler. 
Stepson, Jeff Schieferstein and Megan Arnold both of Fort Wayne.
Brother, Tom and Cindy Nodine of Goshen, Indiana. 

Visitation will be held Saturday, August 23, 2025, from 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM at Hite Funeral Home in Kendallville followed by a memorial service at 12:00 noon.  A luncheon will be served at 1:30 PM immediately following the memorial service at the Rome City American Legion Post 381.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Noble County Humane Shelter in Kendallville.
