John Bryant

John Albert Bryant, age 75, of Huntington, passed away Wednesday, April 26, 2023 at home. John was born in Hartford City, Indiana on October 9, 1947 to the late William Junior Bryant, Jr. and Annetta Louise (Wilson) Bryant. He honorably served his country in the United States Army from 1966-1969 during the Vietnam War. He married Bette Lou Coplin on April 20, 1968 in Ashley, Indiana. John was a truck driver for STC and JAT Transport.

Survivors include:
Wife, Bette Bryant of Huntington.
Daughter, Tonya and Tom Keith of Huntington. 
Son, William Bryant of Marion.
Four grandchildren: Katie (Jack) Carlson of Laketon; Druid (Krista) Chaffins of Warsaw; Jessika (Megan) Steffensmeier of Phoenix, Arizona; and Lydia Chaffins of Warsaw. Two step grandchildren: Amber Keith and Koen Keith both of Hobart. 
13 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Julie Ann Bryant in 2009; sister, Elaine Wirt; and brother, Robert Bryant. 

Visitation will be held Tuesday, May 2, 2023 from 3:00 – 7:00 PM at Hite Funeral Home in Kendallville.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 3, 2023 at 2:00 PM at Hite Funeral Home with Pastor Tom Beck officiating.
Burial with military honors will take place at Lake View Cemetery.
