John Huff

John E. Huff, age 90, of Kendallville, Indiana, passed away March 26, 2024 at his residence. Mr. Huff was born in Pippa Pass, Kentucky on May 2, 1933 to the late Troy and Sara (Slone) Huff. He first married Dina Isaac and she preceded him in death in 1989. He later married Jerline Nellums and she also preceded him in death in 2013. John was a diesel mechanic with Moellering Construction and Local 103 Operators Engineers Union. 
 

Survivors include:

Son, Johnny Ray and Laura Huff of Kendallville.

Daughter, Betty Sue and Rick Davis of Big Turkey Lake, Stroh.

Stepdaughter, Tawana Moriarty of Fort Wayne.

Stepson, Virgil Garner of Fort Wayne.

Stepson, Scott Garner of New Haven.

10 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren, 3 great-great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held Saturday, March 30, 2024 from 11:00am 1:00pm at Hite Funeral Home with a funeral service to follow at 1:00pm. Pastor Rick Davis will officiate the service. 

Burial will follow at Highland Park Cemetery in Fort Wayne.
