Joseph Kohl

JOSEPH R. KOHL, 88, of Fort Wayne, passed away peacefully, Wednesday, Sept. 2, 2020 at home. Born Jan. 9, 1932 in Youngstown, OH, he was the son of Andrew and Mary Kohl. A Korean Army Veteran, he was a member of Post 47. He is survived by sons, Joseph Kohl Jr., Robert Kohl, James Kohl, Richard (Jennifer Kage) Kohl, Thomas (Meg) Kohl; daughters, Cheryl Krieg and Holli Jo Armstrong; brother, Billy Kohl; 10 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren; Shirley Kohl and Marcia Armstrong. He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings, John, Mary, Katie, Mike, Steve, Andy Jr, Helen, Martha, Eleanor, and Eddie. A Memorial Service is 1-4 p.m. Sun., Sept. 20, 2020 - at American Legion Post 47, 601 Reed Rd., Fort Wayne.
