Joy (Blair) Hart

Joy LeGeanne Hart, age 89, of Kendallville, passed away April 23, 2022 at Parkview Noble Hospital in Kendallville. Mrs. Hart was born in Boonville, Indiana on August 6, 1932 to the late Raymond T. Blair, Sr. and Hilda M. (Olsch) Grey. She graduated from Rome City High School in 1950 and married Jack Earl Hart that same year on April 2, 1950 in Kendallville. Jack preceded her in death on October 29, 2010. 

She is survived by her daughter, Dixie Brown of Kendallville.
Six grandchildren: Jackie and Stewart Bender of Topeka; Adam Hart of Kendallville; Nic Hart of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; Nathan Brown of Kendallville; Venessa and Pat Perkins of Kendallville; and Victoria Campbell of LaGrange. 
17 great grandchildren: Olyvia Hart, Reece Hart, Seth Bender, Taylor Bender, Addie Bender, Scott Ritchie and Nixon Hart. 
5 great-great grandchildren.
Two brothers, Raymond Blair, Jr. and Orville and Linda Blair. 
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Jack in 2010; three sons, Darrell, Ray and Bradley Hart; her daughter, Luella “Lee” Campbell; grandson, Brandon Brown and sister, Lois “Crick” Gray.

At her request, there will be no funeral service or calling. Her family is planning a celebration of life gathering on her birthday, August 6, 2022.
