Judith Ann (Yerrick) Bennett, age 83 of rural Kendallville, Indiana, formerly Fort Wayne, passed March 13, 2024 at Lutheran Life Villages in Kendallville. Mrs. Bennett was born in Fort Wayne, Indiana on February 8, 1941 to the late Edward Yerrick and Helen (Stratton) Yerrick. She married Robert Fredrick Bennett, Jr. on March 8, 1963 at St. Luke Lutheran Church in Fort Wayne. She was an adoring wife, mother and most importantly, servant of God. She was a dedicated, loyal and integral addition to Strahm Inc., and Interior Products Supply. She invested 40 plus years serving the construction industry in many roles. She was adored and touched many by all who met her in this capacity, and proudly retired there. She helped her husband build their dream in rural Kendallville. She had an affinity for helping disabled individuals as God directed her to do. She was loved by her children, grandsons and everyone she ever touched. A true angel who walked amongst us. We were blessed to know and love her.
Survivors include:
Daughter, Deborah Bennett.
Son, Gregory Bennett.
Two grandsons: Geran (Kimberly) Rody of Antwerp, Ohio and Landon Rody (Jordan Wilson) of Charlottsville, Virginia.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert F. Bennett Jr.; daughter, Betsy Bennett; parents, Edward and Helen Yerrick; brothers, James Yerrick and Jeffery Yerrick.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 20, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Hite Funeral Home in Kendallville with visitation at 10:00 AM prior to the service.
Burial will take place at Lindenwood Cemetery in Fort Wayne.
