Judy Marie Coleman

Judy Marie Coleman, born December 7th 1940 in Kendallville, Indiana passed peacefully July 14th, 2024. Judy married the love of her life, Joe D. Straw who proceeded her in death Dec. 20th, 2013. Judy was surrounded by loving memories of Joe, her parents George Sr and Laura Coleman, and her best friend growing up, brother George Jr. Judy also had sweet memories of sister in law’s, Loraine Coleman, Sharon Coleman, Cheryl Coleman, her grandparents, and many beloved aunts, uncles and cousins who proceeded her in death. What a joyful reunion happening in Heaven!
      Surviving Judy are her children Russ Straw, and her daughters, Renee (Keith) Liddle, Sally Mosley, and Cindy Straw. Judy’s brothers Charles Coleman, Randy (Sara)Coleman and Ronald (Cheri) Coleman. Special sister in laws Jan Coleman, Helen(Roger) Newsome, Judy Straw-Ervin, Sheila (Cary)Corman, and Rita Straw.
     She will be missed by her 9 grandchildren, Jason Liddle, Kevin (Ashley)Liddle, Haley-Liddle(Kevin) Gosselin, Andrea Mosley, Tim(Erica) Mosley, Shauna(Josh)Belhumeur, Amanda(Dante)Straw, Andrew(Nicole)Littlejohn, and Karen (David) Dunham. Her 10 great grandchildren, and 1 special great-great granddaughter arriving any day. Judy also had several honorary children that was always very special to her! Also surviving are several extended family members that she love and will miss her. 
   Judy loved growing up in Kendallville and would often share memories of Bixlar Lake, her grandparents, the mischievous brothers and growing up on Sherman Street. 
      Judy was an artist and has several paintings all over the United States. She enjoyed long walks in the woods and fishing with her husband Joe, gardening, volunteering at Rome City School, and enjoyed caring for her grandchildren, and great-grandchildren .
