Karen (Herr) Kilburn

Karen Ruby Kilburn, age 58, of Kendallville, passed away on Wednesday, August 16, 2023 at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne. Karen was born in Louisville, Kentucky on March 23, 1965 to Clifford Delbert "Buddy" Herr and Hattie Ruby (Compton) Blanford. She married Michael Wayne Kilburn in June 28, 1984 in Whitehouse, Tennessee and moved to Kendallville in 1989. She was employed by Taylor Made/Lippert in Kendallville. 

Survivors include:
Husband, Michael Kilburn of Kendallville.
Son, Brandon Michael Kilburn of Butler.
Son, David Wayne Kilburn and his companion, Ashley McTavish both of Carbondale, Illinois.
Son, Ryan James Kilburn of Kendallville.
Sister, Theresa Fields of Kentucky.
Brother, Clifford W. Herr of Kentucky.
Brother, Neal Herr of Kentucky.
Sister, Dee Dee McAfee of Indiana.
Stepbrother, Little Bud Fields.

Visitation will be held Sunday, August 20, 2023 from 12:00 PM - 2:00 PM at Hite Funeral Home in Kendallville followed by a funeral service at 2:00 PM. Rev. Purda Hicks will officiate the service.
