Katherine (Hulen) Kelham

Katherine Marie Kelham, age 91, of rural Avilla, passed away Saturday, October 30, 2021 at Orchard Pointe, Kendallville. Mrs. Kelham was born February 3, 1930 to William and Mettie (Lundy) Hulen. She married Thomas Merl Kelham on March 7, 1957 and he preceded her in death on September 28, 2018. Katie was the treasurer for the Town of Rome City for many years. She retired from Central Noble School Corporation administrative office. 

Survivors include:
Son, Gary and Penny Alwine of Kendallville.
Son, Kevin and Julie Kelham of Kendallville.
7 grandchildren: Sarah and Roy Mosley of Kendallville, Ryan Alwine of Kendallville, Becca and Ty Conrad of Kendallville, Brittnay Alwine of Fort Wayne, and Nick Alwine of Kendallville, Brandon Kelham of Kendallville and Tiffany Kelham of Cicero. 8 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.
Brother, Tom Hulen of Wolcottville.
Brother, Dick Hulen of Kendallville.

Funeral services will be held Monday, November 1, 2021 at 1:00 PM at Hite Funeral Home with Pastor Bob Farmer officiating. 
Burial will follow at Lake View Cemetery, Kendallville.
