Lillian (Fogleson) McKinzie

Lillian Marie McKinzie, age 81, of Columbia City, died August 5, 2021 at Parkview Hospital, Fort Wayne. Mrs. McKinzie was born in Fort Wayne, Indiana on May 27, 1940 to the late Arthur E. and Elnora G. (Kitchen) Fogleson. She married William E. McKinzie, Sr. on December 28, 1960 in Columbia City, Indiana. Affectionately known as “Bill-N-Lil”, they were married 58 years before Bill’s passing on December 23, 2018. Lil was a warehouse supervisor for Supermarket Services for 26 years. 

Survivors include:
Daughter, Trina and Jon Rutledge of Lawrenceburg, Tennessee.
Son, William McKinzie, Jr. of Columbia City.
Daughter, Linda Shaw of Fort Wayne.
12 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.
Sister, Bernadine Roberts of Branford, Florida.
Brother, Donald Fogleson of Branford, Florida.
Brother, Tony Fogleson of Williamson, Georgia.
She was also preceded in death by a brother, Fred Fogleson. 

Visitation and funeral services will be held Friday, August 13, 2021 in the Diamond Room at Ceruti’s Summit Park, 6601 Innovation Blvd., Fort Wayne, Indiana. Visitation will begin at 11:00 AM with a funeral service at 12:00 noon followed by a luncheon.
