Lona (Gamble) Robertson

Lona Robertson, age 76, of Avilla, passed away on Saturday, September 17, 2022 at Sacred Heart Home, Avilla. Mrs. Robertson was born in Kodak, Kentucky on September 7, 1946 to the late Carles and Elva (Combs) Gamble. She was employed for 20 years with Mossberg Industries. 

Survivors include:
Daughter, Jennifer Williams of Fort Wayne.
Son, John Slone of Ligonier.
Four grandchildren; Tony and Brittani Slone, Aaron Slone, Jacob Caudill and Lillith Williams; and a great granddaughter, Pfeiffer Slone.
Sisters, Georgia Wood and Shirley and Harold Hoffelder.
Brothers, Jim and Darla Gamble, Ken Gamble, Jack Gamble and Bobby Gamble.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Tammy Slone.

Visitation will be held Thursday, September 22, 2022 at 12:00 noon at Hite Funeral Home in Kendallville followed by a graveside service at 1:30 pm at Corunna Cemetery.
