Marchell D Burrell Thomas

Marchell D. Burrell Thomas, 45, peacefully joined her heavenly father and savior, Friday, March 25, 2022, peacefully with family by her side.  She was born February 10, 1977, in Saginaw, Michigan. 

Marchelle was a member of the Kingdom Door Christian Worship Center.

Marchelle is survived by, husband of 17 years, Ricky Thomas; mother, Deidrea Burrell; stepfather; Anthony Caperton Sr (Waynee). sisters, Tameika (Kehindae “Key”) Burrell-Palmer, Tiffini and DeAngela Caperton; brothers, Anthony Caperton Jr, Torie Sampson and John L Sherman, Jr.; grandmother, Louella “Kate” Johns; uncle, Varney Burrell; Larry Sherman; Lawrence Sherman aunts, Danielle Stewart and Twyanna Sherman; Janice Sherman, mother-in-law, Idella Thomas; sister-in-law, Reginia (Larry) Lucas; brothers in law, Kenneth Newsome, Malcolm Thomas, Tracy (Von) Thomas, Steve Williams, Deriek Williams, Tony Barnes, Delbert White and Victor Baker; close friend, Kyiia Rodgers; cousin, Jennell Young; and many nieces and nephews.

Marchelle was preceded in death by her father, John L. Sherman; grandfather; Varney Lee Burrell Sr; grandma, Martha Stewart; step grandpa, Ocie Stewart; aunt, Veronica Burrell; father-in-law, Louis Thomas Sr.; brothers in law, Robert Lee Baker, Louis Thomas Jr (Poke)., Michael and Anthony Thomas; sister-in-law, Debra Renee Thomas.

A Celebration of Life will be 1 p.m., Saturday, April 2, 2022, at Kingdom Door Christian Worship Center, 1004 Pontiac St., Fort Wayne, with calling two hours prior.  Officiating will be Pastor Harold Johnson.  

Preferred memorials are to the family.
