Marcia Collins Obituary

Marcia Louise (Gawthrop) Collins, age 79, of Bluffton, passed away peacefully and left this earthly realm on February 20, 2024 at Stillwater Hospice, Fort Wayne, Indiana. Marcia was born October 15, 1944 in Larwill, Indiana to Max and Letha Mae (VanMeter) Gawthrop. She graduated from Larwill High School and lived most of her life in and around Whitley County, Indiana.

Marcia is survived by her brother, Fred Gawthrop; sister, Rosie (Gawthrop) Tucker; two sons, Ronald (Debra) Darr and Bradley (Cathy) Darr, Five grandchildren: Kelsey (Derrek) Blankenship, Kaley Darr, Benjamin (Sabrina) Darr, Hannah (Dylan) Green and Ian Darr along with five great grandchildren.

Marcia was preceded in death by her son, Gregory Darr; sisters, Alberta Nichols and Carolyn Sue Myers and her parents Max and Letha Mae Gawthrop.

A Celebration of Life ceremony will be held at a later date.
