Martha Albert

Martha Louise (Haines) Albert, age 78, of Kendallville, passed away on Monday, January 8, 2024 at Lutheran Life Villages in Kendallville. Mrs. Albert was born in Warsaw, Indiana on March 23, 1945 to the late Everett and Evelyn (Sechrist) Haines. She married Allen Jay Albert on August 30, 1968 at Norris Chapel Church rural Auburn. Martha was a secretary at R.P. Wakefield Woodworking of Waterloo for ten years as well as various other places. 

Survivors include:
Husband, Allen Albert of Kendallville.
Son, Mark and Melinda Albert of LaGrange.
Son, Mike and Elizabeth Albert of Elizabethtown, Kentucky.
Six grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
Sister, Nancy Haines of Kendallville.
Sister, Rebecca and Richard Flener of New Haven.
Sister-in-law, Connie and Keith Zerkle of Auburn Indiana.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, January 13, 2024 at 12:00 noon at Lakewood Park Baptist Church, 5555 County Rd. 29, Auburn, Indiana followed by a luncheon after the memorial service. Dr. James Pettit will officiate and Scott Taylor will provide the music for the service. 
Visitation will be held Saturday from 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM prior to the service. 
Memorial donations may be made to the Women's Ministry of Lakewood Park Baptist Church.
