Matthew Becker

Matthew Otis Becker, age 53, formally of Kendallville, passed away unexpectedly on February 13, 2025, at Charleston Area Medical Center in Charleston, West Virginia. Matt was born on June 24, 1971, at McCray Hospital in Kendallville, Indiana, to Otis Hunter and Penny (Ullom) Becker. He married the love of his life, Dorene Hudnall, on July 9, 1996. Matt was an avid pool player for many years. He loved camping and fishing, attending concerts and car shows, and trying his luck at the casinos. He loved Kentucky Wildcats basketball. Matt also enjoyed spending time with his family, and he loved his dogs, Precious, Harley, Pepper, and Xena.

Wife, Dorene Becker of Hughes Creek, West Virginia.
Son, Matthew Becker of Kendallville.
Son, Tyler Becker of Kendallville.
Son, Jordan Becker of Hughes Creek, West Virginia.
Mother, Penny Slone of Kendallville.
Brother, Robert and Amy Becker of Kendallville.
Nephews; Joshua Becker of Kendallville, Alex Wilcox of Albion, Tyler Wilcox of Auburn, and many nieces and nephews on the Hudnall side.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Chris Becker; nephew, Jacob Becker, father and mother-in-law, Bud and Gladys Hudnall; brothers-in-law, Gary Hudnall and Arnold Hudnall. 

There will be a Celebration of Matt's Life at the Kendallville Eagles on Saturday, March 8, 2025, at 7:00 PM.
