Nick Arnold

Nicky Lloyd Arnold, age 67, of Kendallville, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, February 4, 2024 at home. Nick was born in Logan County, West Virginia on November 1, 1956 to the late Grant and Lenore (Browning) Arnold. His family moved to Indiana from West Virginia in the 1960’s.  Nick met Kathleen Stanley and on July 5, 1974, they were married in Kendallville. Kathy preceded him in death also unexpectedly on January 16, 2023. She was the love of his life and his best friend. Nicky died of a “broken heart”. He loved being with his family, reading novels, especially Stephen King and Star Trek and watching television. 

Survivors include:
Daughter, Tina and Barron Renkenberger of Kendallville.
Son, Aaron and Blair Arnold of Kendallville. 
Five grandchildren: Brandon and Sabriena Mills of Indianapolis; Brayden Arnold of Kendallville; Samara Arnold of Kendallville; Bruno Renkenberger of Kendallville; and Khalil Arnold of Kendallville.
Brother, Jeff and Debbie Arnold of Kendallville.
Brother, Ramos and Laura Arnold of Kendallville.
Brother, Willie Arnold of West Virginia.
Brother, Sonny Belcher of Kendallville.
Sister, Charloette “Dale” Weller of Cromwell.
Nick was preceded in death by his parents, Grant and Lenore Arnold; his wife, Kathy Arnold just last year; brothers, Grant Arnold, Jr. and George Belcher; sisters, Judy Manns, Geneva “Kitty” Simpson, and Ethel Arnold. 

Visitation will be held Thursday, February 8, 2024 from 4:00 – 8:00 PM at Hite Funeral Home in Kendallville.
Funeral services will be held Friday, February 9, 2024 at 11:30 AM at Hite Funeral Home with Rev. Willie Collins officiating.
Burial will follow at Lake View Cemetery in Kendallville.
