Pamela Sue Stokes, age 58, was one of the middle children out of 4 born to Mary Jo and Madge Bolen on December 10, 1966, in Kendallville, Indiana. Pam passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her family and loved ones. She went home to be with her Lord and Savior on April 25, 2025.
Pam graduated from Prairie Heights High School in 1986. From there she worked many jobs, she worked at Master Craft for many years and also at nursing homes. Pam also was a home health care worker, which knowledge she used to care for her homebound partner for many years. Pam was a devoted sister, aunt, great aunt and friend. If you were Pam’s friend, you were also her family. Her passion for life’s simple pleasures was the Hallmark of her enduring spirit. Her legacy was one of unconditional love for her family.
Pam focused most of her time on her family and friends. Her everlasting care for them included caring for her siblings, organizing holiday events and birthday parties. She loved to make Christmas candy, angel food cake and homemade noodles with and for her family. She loved gardening and canning what she raised to share with her family. She enjoyed watching her bird houses and cooking over a bonfire with friends and family.

Sister, Nicole Bolen of LaGrange.
Even though Pam had no children, she was a mom to many.
Nephews, Joshua (Valarie) Bolen, Sam, Bash, Lucas, Jaxon Bolen, Nathan Hochstetler and Jacob Bolen.
Nieces, Angie (Kevin) Clifton, Ashlynn Clifton and Kayden Goody.
Her canine companion, Trigger.
Many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Pam was preceded in death by; her parents, grandparents, Adolf and Nora Collins, Granville and Ogie Bolen, sisters, Sandra Bolen, Amy (Kiser) Bolen and her partner, Danny Tomas.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, April 29, 2025, from 4:00 – 6:00 PM at Independent Baptist Church, 7455 State Road 3, South Milford, Indiana 46786.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 30, 2025, at 11:00 AM at the church.
Burial will follow at Brushy Chapel Cemetery, LaGrange.
Memorial donations may be made to Cancer Services of Fort Wayne or Independent Baptist Church of South Milford.
