Paul Hoppe

Paul William Hoppe, age 97, of Fort Wayne, passed away January 19, 2024 at Golden Years Nursing Home. Mr. Hoppe was born in Fort Wayne, Indiana on December 21, 1926 to the late Paul and Amanda (Dammeier) Hoppe. He honorably served his country in the United States Army from 1945-46. He married Carol Melvine Campbell on June 20, 1948 in Hicksville, Ohio. Paul was a route salesman and employed by Seyfert Foods of Fort Wayne. He was a member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church.

Survivors include:
His wife of 75 years, Carol Hoppe of Fort Wayne.
Daughter, Linda and Arthur Just of Fort Wayne.
Daughter, Susan and Lauren DenHartog of Fort Wayne.
Three grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
Paul was preceded in death by a daughter, Barbara K. Hoppe and sister, Elaine Pierce.

Private burial will take place at Covington Memorial Gardens. A memorial service and celebration of Paul’s life will take place at a later date.
