Paul Wiseheart

Paul Wilson Wiseheart, age 85, of Fort Wayne, died Saturday, April 6, 2019 at Majestic Care in New Haven, Indiana.  Mr. Wiseheart was born September 19, 1933 in East St. Louis, Illinois to the late Melvin Earl Wiseheart and Frieda Evadine (Hamilton) Brown and raised by his grandmother, Emma Hamilton.  Paul honorably served his country in the United States Navy during the Korean Conflict aboard the U.S.S. Hanna.  He married Betty Louise Doll on April 24, 1954 in San Diego, California.  He was employed many years with Eastern Airlines.

Wife, Betty Wiseheart of Fort Wayne.
Daughter, Cheryl and Thomas Banks of Decatur, Indiana.
Son, Paul Keith Wiseheart of Romeoville, Illinois.
Son, Dale and Linda Wiseheart of Decatur, Indiana.
Son, Todd and Robin Wiseheart of Diamond, Illinois.
Son, Joel and Crystal Wiseheart of Corona, California.
14 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
Sister, Betty Jean Freeman of Bixby, Oklahoma.
Sister, Dixie Mowen of Jerseyville, Illinois.
He was preceded in death by his parents and grandmother; sister, Josephine Morris; brother, Herbert Wiseheart; and grandson, David Banks. 

A memorial service with military honors will be held Friday, May 24, 2019 at 10:00 AM at St. Alban’s Episcopal Church, 7308 St. Joe Road, Fort Wayne, Indiana. 
A committal service with United States Navy honors will take place on Saturday, May 25, 2019 at 12:00 PM at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, 20953 West Hoff Road, Elwood, Illinois 60421.
