Rebecca “Becky” Jean (Thews) Williams, age 38, of Kendallville, Indiana passes away unexpectedly on Friday, October 6, 2023.  Rebecca was born on February 25, 1985 in Kendallville to Robert Thews and Teresa Thews-Collins.  She married Joshua Edward Williams on April 12, 2008.  Joshua preceded her in death on March 22, 2022.  Rebecca loved spending time with her girls, painting, doing crafts, working in flower beds, playing darts and baking goodies.
Rebecca and Joshua leave behind two daughters, Maecey Elizabeth Williams, age 13 and Vera Kay Williams, age 11 of Kendallville.

Father, Robert Thews (Diane Miller) of Angola. 
Mother, Teresa Collins of Kendallville.
Her Pops, Kenneth D. Gerber of Angola.  
Sister, Leslie Marie Thews of Kendallville.
Sister, Vanessa Kay Thews (Brentin McGuire) of Huntertown.
Sister, Bradee Brindley (Jake) of Pleasant Lake.
Brother, Brandon Thews of Georgia.
Papaw and Mamaw, Willie and Jenny Collins of Waterloo.
Mother in law, Kate Williams of Wolcottville.
Sister in law, Melinda Stackhouse (Travis) of Wolcottville.
Three nieces and four nephews.
Many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Becky was preceded in death by Mamaw, Vonda Collins, cousins, Willie Halsey and Nitika Smith.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 11, 2023 from 4:00 – 7:00 PM at Hite Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, October 12, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Hite Funeral Home.
