Ricky Lee Thompson

Ricky Lee Thompson, 60, peacefully passed away at Majestic Care Jefferson Pointe on May 25, 2024.  He lived in Fort Wayne all his life and never knew a stranger.  Batman was his constant companion and comforter.  He loved to listen to music, color, play Bingo, and watch various sports on TV.  He was a huge football fan of Colts, Ohio State, and ND.  He always had a baseball cap on with one of his favorite team’s logos.

He is survived by his sister, Prudence “Prudy” Thompson; Aunt Bev and Uncle Steve Bailey; Aunt Jenine and Uncle Tom Fiechter; his girlfriend of “14 years”, Jeanette Henriquez; and several cousins. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Larry and Bonnie Thompson.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, June 15th at 2:00pm at St. Joseph United Methodist Church, 6004 Reed Road, Fort Wayne with Rev. Ron VerLee officiating. Burial will take place at a later date at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Fort Wayne.
