Rob Woods

Robert Leslie "Rob" Woods, age 49, of Avilla, died Friday, February 5, 2021 at home with his family around his bedside singing “Jesus Loves Me”. Rob was born in Scottsburg, Indiana on December 1, 1971 to Clifford Warren Woods and Kathie Ann (Zollman) Eversole. He graduated from Garrett High School in 1990 and was employed at Foundations, ARC of Noble County, in Albion for more than 29 years. Rob loved going every summer to the Wonder Valley Christian Camp at Salem, Indiana. He loved swimming at the YMCA and going to concerts but most of all he loved going to his Mamaw and Papaw’s home in Scottsburg and spending time with them.

Survivors include:
His mother and stepfather, Kathie and James Eversole of Avilla.
His father, Clifford Woods of Albion.
Brother, Chuck and Natalie Woods of Albion.
Brother, Bryon Woods of Jeffersonville, Indiana. 
Maternal grandmother, Patricia “Pat” Zollman of Scottsburg. 
Nieces and nephews, Emma Woods, Ellie Woods, Easton Woods, Eyla Woods and Laityn Woods. 
Rob was preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Howard Leslie Zollman and Sally and Avon Klopfenstine; paternal grandparents, Virgil and Earlene (Kelley) Woods. 

Visitation will be held Wednesday, February 10, 2021 from 4:00 – 7:00 PM at Hite Funeral Home in Kendallville. 
Funeral services will be held Thursday, February 11, 2021 at 1:00 PM at Hite Funeral Home with Rev. Thomas Leitch officiating.
Burial will follow the service at Orange Cemetery near Rome City.
Memorial donations may be made to ARC of Noble County or Wonder Valley Christian Camp.
