Obituary
Robert Stephan Young, of Fort Wayne, Indiana, passed away peacefully on May 4th, 2022 at the age of 80, after a short battle with cancer. His wife of 57 years, Patricia, was by his side. Robert was born on March 25, 1942 in Fort Wayne to Jefferson and Mildred Young. He was a graduate of Elmhurst High School. Robert was a gifted artist and after high school, he attended Fort Wayne Art School. After art school, he began working as a lithographer and continued working in his profession until his retirement. Robert had many hobbies including painting, woodworking, gardening, and listening to many different genres of music. He loved spending time with his dog Harley and his ‘granddogs’ Daisy and Ned. Most of all, he loved his family. Robert is preceded in death by his parents Jeff and Mildred and his brothers James and John.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia; his daughter Kristin Diehl (husband, John) and his son Kevin (wife, Michelle).
The family will have a private Celebration of Life to honor his memory. Memorial donations can be made to Cancer Services of Northeast Indiana.
