Ronald Hawkins Obituary

Ronald Blaine Hawkins, age 66, died Monday, July 30, 2018 at his residence in Kendallville. Ron was born January 3, 1952 in Fort Wayne, Indiana to the late Merle Edward and Mary (Huff) Hawkins. He graduated from East Noble High School in 1970 and just recently retired from Tower Automotive in Kendallville after 30 years of service. He loved following the Chicago Cubs and he was proud that he was a musician and drummer.

Survivors include:
Son, Ben and Sheryl Hawkins of Kendallville.
Son, Aaron Hawkins of Kendallville.
Three grandchildren: Wyatt, Jeremiah, and Madison Hawkins.
Brother, Merle and Cynthia Hawkins, Jr. of Austin, Texas.
Brother, Jim and Laura Hawkins of Minneapolis, Minnesota.
Nieces: Amy Austin of Los Angeles, California and Angie Hawkins of Chicago, Illinois.
Nephews, Michael Hawkins and Kiel Hawkins of Minneapolis, Minnesota.
His beloved dog, Sasha.
Ron was preceded in death by his brother, Randall Hawkins.

A gathering time for family and friends will be held Thursday, August 9, 2018 at 12:00 noon at Hite Funeral Home with a memorial service at 1:00 PM.
Burial will take place following the memorial service at Lake View Cemetery in Kendallville.
