Ronnie Bolen

Ronnie Bolen, age 71, of LaGrange, passed away December 29, 2025, from the result of a car crash. Ronnie was born in McCray Hospital in Kendallville, Indiana, on November 19, 1954, to the late Granville and Ogie (Handshoe) Bolen. He was a foundryman and was employed in the past by Kendallville Foundry, Curto Foundry, and Kendallville Iron and Metal. He married Lisa Ann Slone on July 8, 1994, at their home in LaGrange County. She preceded him in death November 22, 2023. 

Survivors include:
Daughter, Britney Teauna Bolen Marcinkevicius of LaGrange.
Son, Corey Malott; daughter, Amy Malott; daughter, Heather Rathke; and daughter, Jamie Medellin.
Stepsons, Calvin Thomas and Christopher Thomas. 
Brother, Gary and Sandy Bolen of Rome City.
Sister, Bonnie Hyde of Kendallville
Sister, Connie Messer and his "twin" brother-in-law, Lana Messer of Wolcottville

Ronnie was preceded in death by his parents, Granville and Ogie Bolen; sisters, Stella Mae Jacobs, Emily Johnson, and Barbara Halbalken; and brothers, Madge Bolen, Kenny Bolen, and Don Bolen.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 1, 2026, any time after 4:00 PM at Independent Baptist Church in South Milford.
Funeral services will be held Friday, January 2, 2026, at 2:00 PM at Independent Baptist Church with Rev. Josh Bolen officiating the service.
