Sandy (Regensburg) Moran

Sandra Louise “Sandy” Moran, age 79, of Fish Lake, LaGrange County, passed away on Sunday, January 23, 2022 at Hickory Creek in Kendallville, with her girls and husband at her side. Mrs. Moran was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on October 21, 1942 to the late Robert George Regensburg and Mary Hazel (Fogerty) Moyer. She graduated from Scecina High School in Indianapolis in 1960 and Ray Vogue School in Chicago. She married Thomas Anthony Moran on June 22, 1963 at St. Andrew’s Catholic Church in Indianapolis. 

Sandy was a warm and caring devoted wife and mother and a wonderful homemaker for her family. She loved spending time with her family, raising her two daughters and was the consummate hostess, warmly welcoming family and friends to her home and always making sure that everything was done to perfection. She was especially proud of her husband, daughters and grandchildren and expressed that love by spending quality time with them and making sure they always had whatever they needed.

Sandy worked as the office manager for Aunt Beth’s Cookies in Mishawaka in the 1980’s. In 2012, she and Tom moved from Granger to make their home at Fish Lake. Sandy loved craft making, scrapbooking and playing golf.   

Survivors include: Husband, Tom Moran of Fish Lake; two daughters: Kimberly Ann (Dean) Bagg of LaGrange and Kellie Ann (John) Sade of Brownsburg, Indiana; five grandchildren: Eric (Ashley) Neff of Niles, Michigan; Brittany (Norm) Sprow of Elkhart; Katlyn (Justin ) Taber of Bristol; Sarah Neff of Elkhart; and Halie Sade of Tempe, Arizona; and four great-grandchildren: Jaxon Sprow, Macie Sprow  Amelia Neff and Bryce Neff. 

Family and friends will honor Sandy’s life at a celebration of life on June 18, 2022 in LaGrange, Indiana. Memorial donations may be made in Sandy's name to Hickory Creek of Kendallville. Arrangements entrusted to Hite Funeral Home
