Sharon Rose Wilcox, age 84, of Kendallville, passed away on Monday, October 2, 2023 at Parkview Noble Hospital, Kendallville. Mrs. Wilcox was born in Defiance, Ohio on October 9, 1938 to the late Leonard Feeney and Aletha (Streckter) Feeney. She graduated from Defiance High School in the spring of 1956 and was married on June 2, 1956 to Carl Franklin Wilcox in Defiance, Ohio. Carl preceded her in death on January 19, 1999. Sharon was employed as a quality control supervisor with Zanxx of Garrett and Federal-Mogel of Avilla.

Survivors include:
Daughter, Catherine “Wilbur” and Jeffrey Croy of Kendallville.
Daughter, Debra and Greg Miller of Kendallville.
Son, Phillip Wilcox of Auburn.
7 grandchildren: Chasity and Shawn Kilburn of Kendallville; Danielle “Dani” and Joshua Bolen of Kendallville; Kelcie and Ben Taylor of Avilla; Holly and Cameron Graves of Huntertown; Dustin Wilcox of Auburn; Heather Wilcox of Angola; and Jayce Wilcox and his fiancé, Kathleen Zeisloft of Auburn. 
18 great grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren.
Brother, Thomas and Kay Feeney of Findlay, Ohio.
Sister, Patricia Beauprez of Defiance, Ohio.
Sister, Ila Gephart of Sherwood, Ohio.
Sister, Karen Dotterer of Defiance, Ohio.
Sharon was preceded in death by her parents, Leonard and Aletha Feeney; her husband, Carl Wilcox; son, Michael W. Wilcox on January 19, 2023; granddaughter, Kara Croy; two brothers-in-law, Daniel Beauprez and Larry Gephart. 

Visitation and funeral services will be held Wednesday, October 4, 2023 at Hite Funeral Home in Kendallville. Visitation will take place from 3:00 – 6:00 PM followed by a funeral service at 6:00 PM. Arrangements entrusted to Hite Funeral Home.
