Sharron L. Rhoades
January 11, 1940 - November 11, 2024

Mrs. Sharron Lee Rhoades, 84, of Fort Wayne Indiana went to be with her Lord at 1:15pm on November 11, 2024 at the Lutheran Community Home in Seymour Indiana.  Sharron accepted Jesus as her Savior and was baptized at Saint Joe River in Cedarville Indiana.  Her parents were Martha and Burman Phillips. She was raised by her grandparents, Mary and Earle Phillips. Sharron suffered from dementia during her last years.

Sharron married Gene J. Rhoades at First Christian Church in Greenville Ohio and they were blessed for 63 years as husband and wife.  She is survived by her husband, three sons Todd, Greg (Susanne) and Kris (Terinda) and two grandchildren Christian and Bianca (Austin).

While an active member of Christ Our Treasure Church in Fort Wayne, she faithfully attended services every Sunday and served as the unofficial greeter welcoming attendees with her warm smile.  Throughout her life, Sharron demonstrated her passion for reflecting God’s love by caring for others, visiting shut-ins and sharing her wonderful ‘made from scratch’ desserts.  When she wasn’t in the kitchen cooking and baking, she could be found outside working in her flower gardens.

The graveside service was held on November 13, 2024, at Concordia Cemetery Gardens in Fort Wayne with Steve Jones officiating.
