Sophia (Spentzous) Ananias

Sophia Ananias, 101, was born October 12, 1920 in Athens, Greece to the late Aggelos and Kanella (Leventis) Spentzous. She died peacefully at her home in New Port Richey, Florida on Saturday, May 14, 2022.  She was preceded in death by her husband, George Ananias in 1975 and son-in-law, Ronald Bowersock. 

Survivors include her daughters, Angela and Dave Benschneider, Helen Bowersock and Alexandra and Trifonas Kales. 6 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. 

Visitation will be held Thursday, May 26, 2022 from 1:00-3:00 PM at Hite Funeral Home followed by a service at 3:00 PM. 
Burial will take place at Lake View Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations may be made to your favorite charity.
