Obituary
Terry Lee Humerickhouse, age 79, of Anderson, passed away peacefully March 17, 2023 at home. Terry was born January 4, 1944 in Anderson, Indiana to the late John and Catherine (Werking) Humerickhouse. He attended Anderson schools until the age of 17 when he joined the United States Marine Corp. He enjoyed every aspect of the training, service to his country, and Marine brothers. The "Once a Marine, always a Marine" was in his heart for life. After being discharged he moved back to Anderson and joined the Anderson City Police Department. He loved the thought of helping people. He retired after 20 years with the police department. He loved many outdoor activities. Fishing, hunting, camping, and spending time with his friends.
His daughter Michelle, and grandkids, Lauren, Anna and Alden were the light of his life. From 1985 until his passing, he was married to Linda Hunt Humerickhouse. This brought him a stepson Anthony Romine, wife Aimee, and two grands, Kaylee and Max. He had three brothers, Bud, Jim, and Larry, and six sisters, Imogene, Anna Mae, Alice, Louise, Sue, and Laura. Many nieces and nephews who were very special to him. One special sister, Louise survives.
He requested no service. His cremation will be arranged by Hite Funeral Home.
