Thelma McClellan, age 71, of Kendallville, passed away Thursday, February 1, 2024 at Parkview Noble Hospital, Kendallville. Thelma was born at Busy, Kentucky on September 29, 1952 to the late Raleigh and Gladys (Feltner) Fields. She graduated from East Noble High School and was employed with Walmart as a receiving clerk. She married David Lee McClellan on December 16, 1978 in Rome City, Indiana and she was a member of Kendallville Church of Christ.

Husband, David McClellan of Kendallville.
Sister, Hazel Hale of Kendallville.
Sister, Zelma Feltner of Huntertown.
Sister, Helen and Tim Leitch of Wolf Lake.
Brother, Delmer Fields of Cromwell.
Brother, Raleigh and Deanna Fields of Kendallville.
Sister-in-law, Lola Meeder of Grand Ledge, Michigan.
Sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Teil and Rick Neff of Kendallville.
Brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Larry and Emma McClellan of Kendallville. 
Many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews. 
Thelma was preceded in death by her parents, Raleigh and Gladys Fields; brother, Elmer Fields; and brothers-in-law, Lloyd Feltner and Kenneth G. Hale.

Visitation will be held Sunday, February 4, 2024 from 2:00 - 5:00 PM at Hite Funeral Home in Kendallville.
Funeral services will be held Monday, February 5, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Hite Funeral Home with Pastor Stephen Altman officiating.
Burial will follow at Sweet Cemetery near Albion.
