Todd Andrew Chandler was someone that can never be forgotten. He was born on February 22, 1973, in Granite City, Illinois to Jim and Carol Chandler. He received a certificate of achievement from Lakeland High School in 1992. Todd participated in numerous things from bowling leagues to Special Olympics to being an honorary Deacon. He worked at McDonalds for 16 years and The Arc Noble County Foundations for 30+ years.
Todd fully embodied the Hebrew word, Agape, which means shows love for all, including enemies, just like Jesus did. Todd’s love for the Lord was inspiring and unwavering. He truly sang like no one was listening, prayed constantly and his life goal was to go to college to be a Pastor. Even though Todd is no longer here with us on earth, he is finally getting his chance to be in eternity with the Lord.
If you ever had the chance to meet Todd, you would have been greeted with a big bear hug and him asking if you rode his bus with him. He was always offering to take people to Dairy Queen, Applebee’s or to Subway, on him. He was beyond caring and generous to all. Whenever you had a conversation with Todd, he probably told you about how he is going to the University of Illinois, will be marrying Jennifier and how the Cubs will win next year. While this is only a sneak peek into how marvelous Todd was, he was ready to be with the Lord.
Todd will always be remembered for his big smile and caring heart. He passed away on April 3, 2025, in Florida at the age of 52. Todd is survived by his parents, Jim and Carol Chandler, Brothers, Eric (Amelia) Chandler, Brian (Andrea) Chandler, Kevin (Megan) Chandler, and 2 nieces, Kiley, and Kendall and 2 nephews, Lance, and Duncan.
