Uthelene (Conley) Schomaker

Uthelene (Conley) Schomaker, age 76, of Avilla, died Wednesday, June 9, 2021 at her daughter’s home. Mrs. Schomaker was born in Quicksand, Kentucky to the late Rev. Golden and Mae (Handshoe) Conley on July 16, 1944. She married David Lynn Schomaker on October 25, 1980 at the Community Baptist Church near Wolcottville. David preceded her in death on December 21, 2011. 

Survivors include:
Daughter, Brenda and Lynn Lash of Avilla.
Stepdaughter, Jennifer Schomaker of Kendallville and her companion, Duane.
Stepson, Darris and Vicki Schomaker of Queen City, Arizona.
Stepson, David and Jill Schomaker of Oak Park, Illinois.
Three grandchildren, four step grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
Brother, Willie and Wilma Conley of Stroh.
She was also preceded in death by her sister, Jean McNamara; brothers, Cline Conley, Finley Conley and infant, Herman Conley.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 12, 2021 at 12 noon at Harbor of Love Baptist Church with visitation at 10:30 AM prior to the service. 
Pastors Charles Mosley and Matt West will officiate the funeral service. 
Burial will follow at Woodruff Cemetery in LaGrange County.
Casket bearers will be Lynn Lash, Austin Lash, Aaron Lash, Colton Rodenbeck and Casen Rodenbeck.
Memorial donations may be made to the Noble County Humane Society.
