Vickie Lynn (Owen) Huston, age 72, of Albion, passed away February 4, 2024 at Parkview Noble Hospital in Kendallville. Mrs. Huston was born in Ashley, Indiana on February 28, 1951 to the late Forrest Owen and Dolores (Iddings) Chorpenning. She married Dan Ray Huston on December 26, 1979 in Albion and he preceded her in death April 4, 2017.  Dan and Vickie owned and operated D & V Bail Bonds for many years out of Albion.

Survivors include:
Daughter, Tammie and Lee Skinner of Kimmell, Indiana.
Daughter, Beverley and Jeffrey Kosteck of Columbia City.
Son, Gerald Day of Auburn.
Daughter, Denise Huston and Cameron Gaff of Muncie.
Stepson, Tyler and Candace Huston of Indianapolis.
9 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
Brother, Harold Owen of Albion.
Sister, Dolores and Troy Williams of Ligonier.

She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Roy Allen Owen and J.R. Owen and a sister, Margaret Campbell.

Visitation will be held Monday, February 12, 2024 from 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM at Hite Funeral Home in Kendallville followed by a funeral service at 1:00 PM.
Burial will follow at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery rural Kendallville.
Casket bearers will be Vickie's grandsons Joey Day, Jarrod Day, Logan Skinner, Nicholas Woods and Justin Wert, and son-in-law, Cameron Gaff. 
Arrangements entrusted to Hite Funeral Home.
