Waldora Rose McKee, age 97, of Kendallville, passed away January 31, 2022 at Sacred Heart Home in Avilla. Mrs. McKee was born in Richland Township, Indiana on July 23, 1924 to Kenneth and Wanda (Harger) Little. She married Donald Ralph McKee on January 28, 1946 and he preceded her in death on their 65th wedding anniversary in 2011. Waldora was a housewife and homemaker.
Survivors include:
Daughter, Dorene "Dee" and Tom Scott of Front Royal, Virginia.
Daughter, Priscilla "Pat" Lanning of Garrett.
Son, Ronald and Gina McKee of Arcadia, Florida.
14 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren, 14 great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Don; daughter, Donna Kay Tazleer; and a brother, Kenneth Little.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 12, 2022 at 2:00 PM at Hite Funeral Home in Kendallville with Pastor Brian Walters officiating. Visitation will be held from 12:00 PM - 2:00 PM prior to service. Burial will take place at Maple Grove Cemetery in Edgerton, Ohio at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to Hite Funeral Home.
