Wanda Emerick Obituary

Wanda Louise Emerick, age 81, of Kendallville, died Monday, December 24, 2018 at Parkview Noble Hospital, Kendallville. Mrs. Emerick was born in Garrett, Kentucky on June 24, 1937 to the late Doyle and Mae (Smith) Strange. She married Maynard Earl Emerick on October 31, 1959 in Hudson, Indiana and he preceded her in death in 1994. Wanda worked in Kendallville at Taylor Made, Essex Wire and Publix Restaurant.

Survivors include:
Daughter, Janet and Kevin Anglin of Kendallville.
Daughter, Diana Smith of Kendallville.
Son, Mike Emerick of Kendallville.
7 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death her son, Jeff Jarrett; two sisters, Jean Aichele and Bobbi Jo Adkins; and two brothers, Doyle “Bud” Strange, Jr., and Donald Strange.

There will be a private gathering of family and close friends at a later date.
