Wayde Kiser

Wayde Kiser, age 73, formerly of Mongo and recently of Scottsburg, Indiana, passed away Wednesday, July 20, 2022 at his home in Scottsburg. Wayde was born in Teaberry, Floyd County, Kentucky to the late Cecil and Alma (Newsome) Kiser. He graduated from Betsy Lane High School in Prestonsburg in 1966. He married Rosella Ann Potter on July 27, 1985 in South Milford, Indiana. 

Survivors include:
Wife, Rosella Kiser of Scottsburg.
Daughter, Rachel and Chris Thomas of Scottsburg.
Son, Barry and Bridget Kiser of Angola.
Five grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.
Son-in-law, Granville “Bud” Bolen of LaGrange.
Stepchildren: Corena Polly of Middlebury; Tisha Tarter of Alabama; Tina Kabelman of Pickford, Michigan; and Ricky Kujawa of Florida.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his daughter, Amy Bolen who died in 2019; sister, Annie Handshoe, who died in 2012. 

Visitation will be held Friday, July 22, 2022 from 3:00 – 6:00 PM at the Church of the True God, South Milford with Rev. Wade Sturdivant officiating an evening service at 6:00 PM. 
Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 23, 2022 at 2:00 PM at the Church of the True God with Rev. Kenneth Beverly officiating.
Burial will take place at Mongo Cemetery.
Casket bearers will be Daylio Kiser, Johnny Ray Handshoe, Zachariah Kiser, Calvin Thomas, Brandon Kiser and Joshua Bolen. 
Arrangements entrusted to Hite Funeral Home.
