Ron and Marietta Hite
Licensed Funeral Director
Ron had been a funeral director in Kendallville since 1964. He was born in Ligonier and moved to Kendallville in 1943 when his father, Harold Hite became the funeral director of the Kendallville Mortuary Association which eventually became Hite Funeral Home in 1945. In 1962 he married Marietta Mory and they have three daughters and five grandchildren. Ron and Marietta sold the funeral home and retired in 2005 but still remained actively involved in the business and the Kendallville community. God called Ron to his heavenly home on October 26, 2016. We all miss Ron's presence here but we are assured, by the promises of God, that we will be together again in His kingdom that has no end. Thank you, Ron, for your many years of compassionate service to Kendallville and the surrounding communities. Rest in peace, my friend.

When my husband (who was a veteran) died, we were fortunate to have pre-arrangements with Veterans Funeral Care. They gave my husband a service with the respect and honor all our veterans deserve. Every family deserves the same. I can also personally attest to the unparalleled quality of their work.
I enjoy working alongside families to help them realize and understand the options available to them when pre-planning a funeral or memorial service.
I am a lifelong Northeast Indiana native and have 3 sons.
Tom has lived in Fort Wayne for 25 years and has four children and five grandchildren, who all live in Fort Wayne. For many years Tom served families in Northeast Indiana as a licensed insurance agent. He frequently referred his clients to Hite Funeral Home because of the exceptional value they provides to families. For this reason it only made sense for Tom to join the Hite Funeral Home team.
