Dan Huston, age 68, of Albion, Indiana, died Tuesday, April 4, 2017 at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne.  Mr. Huston was born December 29, 1948 in Muncie, Indiana to the late Raymond Huston and Dorothy (Peters) Heckathorne. His step mother was Sandra Raleen (McCreedy) Huston.  He married Vickie L. Owen on December 26, 1979 in Albion, Indiana.  Dan was employed for 30 years with Dana in Auburn.  He also owned D&V Bail Bonds in Albion for 28 years. 

Survivors include:
Wife, Vickie Huston of Albion.
Son, Tyler and Candace Huston of Indianapolis.
Daughter, Tammie and Lee Skinner of Kimmell.
Daughter, Beverley Day of Albion.
Son, Gerald and Laura Day of Auburn.
Daughter, Denise Huston and Cameron Gaff of Muncie.
Nine grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
Sister, Penny and Tony Hyatt of New Castle.
Brother, Jerry Huston of Muncie.
Step brothers, Greg Probst of Oklahoma and Rex Probst of Mississippi.

Visitation will be Friday, April 7, 2017 from 4:00 – 8:00 PM at Hite Funeral Home in Kendallville.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 8, 2017 at 1:00 PM at Hite Funeral Home.
Burial will take place at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery rural Kendallville. 
Memorial donations may be made to The World Wildlife Fund.
