Jerra L. Collins

Jerra L. Collins, age 76, of Kendallville, passed away on Monday, May 15, 2017 at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne.  Ms. Collins was born on April 20, 1941 in Waterloo, Indiana to the late Russell Boyd Collins and Delsie Lower. She attended Waterloo High School.  She and her husband James Bolen were together for many wonderful years.  He preceded her in death in 2008.  Jerra worked in assembly at Colwell General in Kendallville. Then she went to work with injection molding at Pent Plastics in Avilla.  She retired from Holsum Bakery as a stocker. Jerra loved to do puzzles and puzzle workbooks.  She enjoyed spending time with her family, grandchildren, and canine companion, Tiny.

Daughter, Becky Hogle of Kendallville.
Daughter, Barbara Latta of Cromwell.
Daughter, Tanya Long of Howell, Michigan.
Son, James and Amy Bolen of Kendallville.
Son, Scott Washler of Hicksville, Ohio.
Son, Brian Washler of Butler.
17 Grandchildren.
Many Great-grandchildren.
Brother, Paul Collins of Butler.
Brother-in-law, Inn Bolen of Churubusco.
Brother-in-law, Ellis Ray Hicks of Garrett.
Sister-in-law, Violet Chapman of Statesville, North Carolina.

Jerra was preceded in death by her husband, daughter; Geraldine Bolen, 

Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 18, 2017 from 3:00-7:00pm at True Church of God in Jesus Name, 2664 South Lima Road, Kendallville, Indiana 46755.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 19, 2017 at 11:00am with visitation one-hour prior from 10:00-11:00am at True Church of God in Jesus Name.  
Burial will take place at a later date.
Officiating the funeral services will be Pastor Jesse Jacobs.
Memorial donations may be directed to the family to help aid with funeral expenses.
