Malachi Lee Metcalf, age 38, of rural Angola, died on Friday, November 24, 2017 at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne, Indiana.  Malachi was born at McCray Hospital in Kendallville, Indiana on October 7, 1979.  He was employed with Vestil Manufacturing in Angola for the past 16 years.

Survivors include:
Mother, Molly Hess of Butler.
Son, Seth Metcalf of Angola.
Fiancé, Jennifer Kenney of Angola.
Jennifer’s boys that Malachi helped raise and were like sons, Dustin Hess and Cody Hess of Angola.  Cody’s daughter, Ava.
Brother, Michael Metcalf of Butler.
He was preceded in death by maternal grandparents, McKinley and Pansy (Hicks) Hess.

Visitation will be Tuesday, November 28, 2017 anytime after 2:00 PM at First Freedom Baptist Church, 3263 State Road 327, Corunna, Indiana with a service at 6:00 PM that evening.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, November 29, 2017 at 11:00 AM at First Freedom Baptist Church with Rev. Ron Bell officiating the funeral.
Burial will take place at Corunna Cemetery, south of Corunna.
