Margaret E. (Kinsey) Miller

June 1, 1925 ~ December 3, 2014 (age 89) 89 Years Old

MARGARET  E. MILLER, age 89, of Harlan passed away with her family by her side on Wednesday, December 3, 2014 at her daughter’s home in Harlan. 

Margaret was born in Allen County on June 1, 1925 to Dale and Lydia (Nusbaum) Kinsey. 

She married Lewis (Luke) Miller on April 9, 1944 in Grabill and he preceded her in death in 1992. 

Margaret worked as a unit clerk at Parkview Memorial Hospital in Fort Wayne for 27 years retiring in 2001.  

Throughout her life she learned to depend upon His Word and encouraged others to do the same.  She was a longtime member of the Hicksville Assembly of God Church.    

Survivors include:

Son; Steve (Deb) Miller of Fort Wayne.
Daughter; Connie ( Ed ) DeLong of New Haven.
7 grandchildren; Stephanie (Gary) Hahn, Jennifer (Ralph) Rowe, Clint (Jyl) Miller, Matthew (Bonnie) DeLong, Noah (Beth) DeLong, Debbie DeLong, Gabe Miller and Seth Miller.
14 great grandchildren; Loren, Aaron and Colin Hahn; Ross, Grace, Luke, Lily, Anna and Laura DeLong; Eric, Olivia, and Alyssa Rowe; Alex and Natalie Miller.
Two step-grandchildren; Jessica (Martel) Acuff and Brandon Mitchell.
Three step-great grandchildren; Madison Mitchell, Jayden and Vincent Acuff.
Daughters-in-love; Barb Miller and Amy Miller.
3 Brothers; Lawrence (Nancy) Kinsey of Hicksville, Ohio.
Norman (Norene) Kinsey of Spencerville.
Morris (Gail)'Kinsey of New Hampshire.
Sister; Doris (Robert) Smead of Harlan. 

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Luke;  son, Craig Miller; grandson, Christopher Miller; and sister; Harriet Voirol. 

Visitation will be Monday, December 8, 2014 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the Woodburn Missionary Church, 5108 Bull Rapids Road in Woodburn.  Also one hour prior to the funeral service on Tuesday. 

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, December 9, 2014 at 2:00 PM at the Woodburn Missionary Church. 

Officiating the funeral service will be Rev. David Koch and Pastor Gary Hahn. 

Burial will be at Scipio Cemetery in Harlan, Indiana. 

Preferred memorials may be made to Parkview Hospice or Amazon Outreach c/o William Pepper Ministries.
