Patricia Anne Vaughn, age 75, of Pretty Lake, passed away on Friday, December 2, 2016 at her residence. Mrs. Vaughn was born in Plymouth, Indiana on July 19, 1941, daughter of the late Alfred E. Brooke and Geraldine (Caldwell) Brooke. She graduated from South Side High School in Fort Wayne in 1959 and married Ronald Carlson Vaughn on November 25, 1961 in Fort Wayne, Indiana.  Pat retired from the Prairie Heights School Corporation as a reading tutor for 24 years.  She loved spending time with her family, raising flower gardens, collecting antiques, attending her grandchildren’s activities, and living on Pretty Lake.  She was an active member South Milford Church of Church.

Survivors include:
Husband, Ron “Butch” Vaughn of Pretty Lake.
Daughter, Terri and David Deming of Kendallville.
Daughter, Tracey and Steve Wohlers of Pretty Lake.
Daughter, Amy and Christopher Heller of Pretty Lake.
Seven grandchildren: Joshua Deming, Andy (Lindsay) Deming, Emilee Deming all of Kendallville, Landon Wohlers and Lydia Wohlers of Pretty Lake, and Kelsey Heller and Isabelle Heller of Pretty Lake.  Five great grandchilren: Emma and Eli Deming, Addison and Liam Deming, and Maddox Deming.
Sister, Suzy and Bruce Bone of Fort Wayne.
Sister, Deborah and Tom Schuemann of Palm Beach, Florida.
Sister, Ellawynn "Ellie" and Mike Connin of Fort Wayne.
Brother, Frank Brooke of Fort Wayne.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 7th 2016 at 11:00 AM at the South Milford Church of Christ. Pastors Brian Walter, Jim Mertz, and Michael Booher will officiate.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 6th from 3:00 to 8:00 PM at Hite Funeral Home in Kendallville and one hour prior to the funeral service at the church. 
Burial will take place at South Milford Cemetery. 
Memorial donations may be made to South Milford Church of Christ or Visiting Nurse & Hospice Home.
