Rochelle Laveda (Clear) Williford

Rochelle Laveda Williford, age 68, passed away on Sunday, March 5, 2017 at Miller's Merry Manor in Garrett.  Mrs. Williford was born on May 14, 1948 in Auburn, Indiana to the late Don Emerald and Gladys Irene (Zerkle) Clear.  She graduated from Waterloo High School.  Rochelle operated her own daycare out of her home for 17 years before retiring.  In 1992, she married Robert Williford in Waterloo, Indiana he precedes her in death.  Rochelle was active with prayer groups and the Kendallville Apple Festival.  At the Kendallville Apple Festival, she ran her own booth where they made items out of leather.  She was very artistic and loved woodworking, stitching blankets, crocheting, needle point work, and making dream catchers.  Rochelle was an avid I.U. fan and enjoyed watching the games.  
Survivors include:
Son, Samuel and Donna Woods of Auburn.
Son, Stanley and Karena Woods of Kendallville.
Son, Jeremy and Jamie (Woods) Briley of Auburn.
Daughter, Danetta and Jerry Hawk of Muncie.
15 Grandchildren.
28 Great-grand children.  
Sister, Sheila Ulery of Waterloo.  
Many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Funeral services will take place on March 9, 2017 at 1:00pm at Hite Funeral Home, 403 South Main Street, Kendallville, In 46755 with visitation one-hour prior from 12:00-1:00pm.  
Burial will take place at Orange Cemetery near Rome City.
Memorial donations may be directed to the family. (Payable to Samuel Woods)
