Rodney Wesley Johnson, age 47, of Kendallville, died unexpected on Thursday, May 11, 2017 at his residence. Rodney was born October 25, 1969 in Kendallville to Rollin Wesley Johnson and Vongie Lee (Howard) Strunk.  He was a very loving and caring person and he loved his cat, Smokey.

His mother, Vongie Strunk of Kendallville.
Brother, Danny Howard of Kendallville.
Brother, James and Telina Vanderpool of Kendallville.
Sister, Tina and Mike Berry of Kendallville.
Sister, Della and David Gamble of Kendallville.
Sister, Teresa Johnson of Kendallville.
Sister, Wendy Howard of Michigan.
Girlfriend, Lisa Ferguson of Kendallville.

Visitation will be held Sunday, May 14, 2017 from 1:00 – 5:00 PM at Hite Funeral Home in Kendallville.
Funeral services will be held Monday, May 15, 2017 at 11:00 AM at Hite Funeral Home with Pastor Carter Hicks and Pastor Zaundra Hicks officiating.
Burial will take place at Lake View Cemetery in Kendallville.
