OMG this is such a horrible thing to know that a really good friend of mine is gone. I worked in the Deli with shirley and she was such a great person an friend. Her great sense of humor always made me laugh. She was always so strong and fought til the very end, even til she couldnt fight anymore. Shirley I will miss you! Hope to see you again sumday in heaven.

We were so sorry to hear of your loss.  We met Shirley some 30 years ago when we came to Kendallville.  We could not have asked for a finer, kinder, happier friend.  Shirley has touched many lives; the community will surely miss her.  May God bless her family and ease your pain.

Sorry about your loss.. We knew Shirley since we were little girls out on the farm on 6. They lived across the field on the cemetary road. We had lots of memories of playing together when we were kids.We havent seen her much over the years except when we would run into her at walmart.. She always had a big smile on her face, and always took time to talk.

I am a cafiteria friend of your mothers. I will grately miss her. She was such a good friend to me, as I hope I was to her. I know she loved all of you so much. I am so glad she got to go to Vegas. She wanted to go so bad. When I talked to her when she got back she said, The doctor told me I would end up in the hospital if I went but it was worth it. She also told me that God had given her the best sons there would ever be. I will miss her not being in one of the chairs when we girls go out to eat. But I know she no longer is suffering. God has welcomed her home.
